"Please be advised that the cruise ship The Regal Empress will not be available from 25 SEPT 2008 for a period of 90 days. It will be relocated to Galveston Texas to be used as a floating hotel for Hurricane IKE Disaster Relief Personnel. It will be located there for a period of 90 days with a possibility of an additional extension. We regret any inconvenience this may create."

NOTE: 11/3/2008 - We have just been notified that the Regal Empress will resume Caribbean Cruises effective 01 December 2008 but with a modified itinerary:

"Effective December 1st, 2008 the Regal Empress will sail on Mondays and Tuesdays from Port Everglades to Freeport, The Bahamas on two night cruises and will sail on Fridays on three night cruises. These three night cruises will alternate between Freeport and Nassau, The Bahamas as follows:

December 5, 2008 - Freeport
December 12         - Nassau
December 19         - Freeport
December 26         - Nassau
Dec 31 (Special)    - Nassau (2 night special)
January 2, 2009     - Freeport
January 9               - Nassau
January 16             - Freeport
January 23             - Nassau
